Does Privacy Still Exist?

Privacy, Technology,

“In digital era, privacy must be a priority. Is it just me, or is secret blanket surveillance obscenely outrageous?”

We live in the era of smartphones, smart tv’s, facial recognition, fingerprint scanner, and smart cameras can be seen anywhere. Our laptops’ webcam and microphone can be accessed by the government without telling us. The cars we use now have GPS which allows us to navigate towards our location but someone who has expertise in hacking can track our cars as well.
Are you worried about your privacy?
Some of us love the technological advancement we are experiencing right now but we are forgetting one thing. PRIVACY.

Privacy, Technology
A photo for an article about privacy.

We love taking photos or videos and using the location services by the apps. Doesn’t it bother you that there is somebody out there that is keeping track of what you are doing?
The internet age is exposing us whether it is good or bad. It keeps telling our minds to post, tweet or share the experience you are having at this moment. Some of us can control it but the others can’t. We post our negative experiences that don’t really need to be shared with everyone like your breakups or family problems.
I just don’t get it why some people share this kind of stuff. I mean what good does it do to you? If your problems can be solved by posting this then people who do this is now living a problem free type of life but this doesn’t work. Like I said it exposes you. You just got rid of your privacy.
You have to learn how to control yourself in using our technology.
To be honest, who cares about your problems? Other people are busy doing their personal agendas as well so maybe you stop exposing yourself and talk about your problems with your inner circle.
On the other hand, the government is doing this because of “national security”. Some countries now have Gait Recognition which is a recognition software that identifies a human by the way he/she walks. As long as your appliances, gadgets or anything that has a camera, microphone, location services/GPS, and internet you don’t have privacy anymore.
Smart gadgets like Amazon Echo, Google Home products, and Apple Homepod is a way to get rid of privacy as well. As long you start interacting with them they can record your queries without notifying you because it is their task and those gadgets have microphones installed on them that can be used to spy on you.
I might sound crazy on this but this is true. Like it or not this is the easy way of providing national security. The days of our privacy might be over. Which shows us that we should really be careful about what we are doing especially if it involves technology.
Whether you are a good or bad citizen you can’t hide anymore. Those days are over and that is a FACT.
